Frequently Asked Questions
-
We recycle grass clippings back into the lawn, where they act as a natural fertilizer and help improve overall lawn health. Our commercial-grade mowers finely mulch the clippings, eliminating the need for bagging or hauling them away.
-
We maintain lawns at 2.5″–3.5″ throughout most of the season to encourage strong roots, a fuller appearance, and better resistance to drought and disease. To protect your lawn’s long-term health, we do not cut below this height.
We will not mow lower due to the risk of burning the lawn and damaging the mowers.
-
To keep service consistent and efficient, we operate on set weekly routes by neighbourhood. While this means we can’t guarantee specific service days, we always notify customers ahead of time so they know when to expect us.
-
If you have a dog, please ensure any excessive amounts of pet waste are removed from the lawn before we arrive. To keep services running smoothly, all customers receive an emailed schedule, and an automated text message is sent 24 hours in advance of your service.
Because our team follows a regular weekly route, please make sure the lawn is clear of obstructions such as toys, materials, garbage, or pet waste prior to service. If an excessive amount of obstructions is present, the visit may be rescheduled.
-
We understand that you may occasionally need to skip a weekly mowing. While we’re happy to accommodate scheduling needs when possible, skipped services are not eligible for refunds, as missed cuts often require extra work on the following visit.
Our services run on a consistent weekly schedule and are billed month to month. This allows us to provide reliable service, keep routes efficient, and maintain steady employment for our team.
Grass growth varies throughout the season, with heavier growth in the spring and lighter maintenance later in the summer. Our pricing reflects this balance to keep costs consistent for our customers.
If you plan to cancel service, please let us know as early as possible. Service will continue through the end of the current month, after which your account will be closed.
-
Rain is an unavoidable part of the lawn care industry, and we make every effort to keep services running during light rain. However, in the event of heavy rain or unsafe conditions, service may be delayed.
When delays occur, our schedule is adjusted accordingly and pushed back based on the number of rain days. For example, if your scheduled mowing day is Monday and heavy rain occurs on Monday and Tuesday, your service would take place on Wednesday.
